Workforce Development Fund
The Workforce Development Fund provides Island businesses with assistance to train their employees in the workplace in order to increase their skills.
The program includes three distinct modules for potential support, including Workforce Learning, Workforce Exposure and the Canada-PEI Job Grant.

To be eligible for participation in the Workforce Development Fund organizations must:
- be a business, industry association or sector council operating in Prince Edward Island;
- propose activities that support the objectives of the Workforce Development Fund and have defined start and finish dates;
- other criteria and restrictions may apply.
Priority will be given to proposals that invest in new skills, improved productivity and competitiveness, as well as introduce new business practices required in a knowledge-based economy.
How Do I Apply?
Interested parties must obtain a copy of the appropriate application form below, manually complete the form, and submit it to a local SkillsPEI office. All applications received by SkillsPEI will be assessed based on evaluation criteria outlined in the application.
